About Our Practice

Dedicated To Helping You Hear Better
Every person who walks through our door is unique: a unique person with a distinctive hearing loss. We take the time necessary to get to know you as a person, not just a patient, and we take the time to understand how we can help you take control of your life.
We work closely with you to assess and understand the cause and magnitude of your hearing loss, its impact on your life, and the situations in which you have the most difficulty communicating.
Once we have that information, we’ll collaborate with you to determine the best possible solution. Our goal is to design a plan of action that will improve your ability to listen, hear, speak, and be comfortable in all the situations you desire.

Owner & Audiologist
Carol Hawkins Au.D.
Hey there! I’m Dr. Carol Hawkins, audiologist and proud owner of Hawkins Hearing Center. With over 40 years of experience in the hearing healthcare field, I’ve dedicated my career to diagnosing hearing loss and prescribing personalized solutions that empower my patients to hear better. My ultimate goal? To change lives for the better.
I’m a firm believer in continuous education and advancement in my field. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1985, California State University, Los Angeles in 1986, and earned my doctoral degree in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2005. Translation: Your ears are in good hands.
When I’m not busy changing lives at the office, you might catch me lacing up my running shoes for some distance races. Sometimes I even manage to drag my husband along as a spectator (he’s a good sport, I promise!). I also cherish quality time with my two amazing daughters who are thankfully close by. Nature holds a special place in my heart, so you’ll often find me exploring the serene trails of the Cleveland Metroparks with my adorable pups. Oh, and let’s not forget my obsession with all things Disney – it truly is the magical “happily ever after” that keeps me inspired!
Ready to embark on your journey to better hearing? Schedule your appointment with me today and take the first step toward a life filled with vibrant sounds and joyful connections. Let’s embark on this journey together – you deserve it!
See you soon,
Dr. Carol Hawkins
